“A Clockwork Orange,” directed by Stanley Kubrick. Like Alex, I share an obsession with Beethoven’s 9th Symphony and mayhem. Second act drags but who cares. Anything by Kubrick really. “Damage,” directed by Louis Malle. Does it get any better than Miranda Richardson?? “The Bobo,” directed by Robert Parrish.

Last CD I bought:
“Extase,” Measha Brueggergosman, soprano. She is a dear friend and the most exciting talent in the world of opera.

Song currently playing:
Hendrix’s live version of “Red House”

Favorite Drink:
Bushmills on the rocks, ‘85 Krug vintage Cabernet (if you can find one), mojito (I toast Gong Li’s parents every time I have one)

Favorite Charity:
Johns Hopkins Children’s Center (my brother-in-law is head of pediatrics and the need a hundred million for a new hospital)

Favorite Vacation:
Hawaii for surfing, Colorodo for skiing, Ibiza for partying, Italy for touring, eating, and getting fat

Favorite Vice:
I’m addicted to Michael Mann films which led to Gong Li obsession (second coolest woman on the planet) and boxing. I am in constant pain most of the time.
